Anonymous asked: there's only one hard rule in raw denim: wear your jeans. great results come from wear that YOU put in. there are some guys who have jeans that look amazing even with regular washing, and some that look shitty even if they followed the no-wash-before-6-months rule. everyone wears their jeans differently, and some pairs just fade faster than others.

gaws asked: If he's trying to get them to break in, use normal detergent for a longer time, in warmer water. However, be careful that the water isn't too warm or they'll shrink. He should also be wary that trying to rush the aging process will only shorten it.
