I don’t know much about the exact model, but Flathead producers excellent denim.
I think XX-003? I’m not sure. I don’t really have much interest in PBJ’s.
No. It’s your choice. Presoaking just means less indigo bleeding into shoes.
al3xanderr replied to your post: is it necessary to pre-soak denim before wear?
Uhh it also depends if the denim is sanforized or unsanforized
Fading is supposed to happen over time. If you expect two weeks to do amazing things to your denim, you’re expecting too much—you’re rushing it. Give it some time next go; you messed it up.
Better luck [after spending a couple hundred bucks] next time.
Just kidding.
Continue to wear them in for a couple of months and eventually you’ll get the fades you’ve been waiting for.
Fading an longevity is determined by the wearer. I’d recommend Samurai s710 just because I admire them so much. Both brands hold very quality denim.
It usually works like this for most of all denim: Size down one for tight but slim fit; size down two for tighter and slimmer. Makes sense, yeah? Haha.
A lot of people have been against APC denim lately, but I don’t see what’s so bad with them as started denim. Imperials are good also, I haven’t owned a pair, so I can’t really say anything.
Cuffing once would help prevent bleeding. Sadly, the only other way to to lose some indigo [instead of the loss going on your shoes] is to simply soak or wash them. It’s either you prematurely soak/wash them, or cuff. The first soak should be enough to make very very minimal denim bleed on your shoes. To be quite honest, it’s pretty unavoidable at the start of denim wear.
